I’m Janelle, a highly sensitive person turned spiritual life coach dedicated to guiding highly sensitive women towards embracing their unique traits and living authentically. With a deep understanding of the challenges and strengths that come with being highly sensitive, I provide a safe and nurturing space for my clients to explore their emotions, set boundaries, and cultivate self-compassion.

My coaching approach is rooted in empathy, active listening, and non-judgment. I will work collaboratively with you to help identify your goals, navigate overwhelm, and create personalized strategies for your self-care and personal growth. By incorporating mindfulness techniques, inner child work, and positive psychology principles, I support highly sensitive individuals in harnessing their sensitivity as a source of empowerment.

My Story

My journey started terrified of the world and most of the people in it. I would rarely leave my mother’s side, gripping on to her for dear life. I was told I was “shy”. Later that became “sensitive”. I navigated the world highly affected by most things - noises, lights, sounds, rough fabrics/clothing, large groups (let’s be real, even small groups), other people’s feelings, the list goes on. I thought that something was wrong with me, that I was “broken”, and I wasn’t like others. Why couldn’t I be less affected by the world? Why couldn’t I be “normal”?

I continued these thought patterns through my early adult life. I thought my sensitive self was something to be ashamed of. So I learned to put on a happy face, hide any of my feelings (as best I could), people-pleased, and suppressed the rest with caffeine, alcohol, and emotional eating. 

I persisted for as long as my body allowed. But signs started showing up everywhere - gut issues worsening, horrible anxiety and anxiety attacks, burn out, and alcohol addiction. My body was tired, as was my mind. I began to question who I was. From people pleasing for so long, I lost sight of my wants, needs, and boundaries. I decided I wanted more from my life and that I needed to make some drastic lifestyle changes. 

Through the areas I coach about in my program, I slowly found balance in my life again. And I continue to find balance. I found out I am a highly sensitive person and an empath. Discovering these traits helped me articulate what I couldn’t for so long. They helped me find tools to navigate the world easier.  Now I’m here to coach women feeling the same, to find balance in their life, to honor their body, and connect with their highest self.
